E15 was the most tested motor fuel prior to rollout, RFA says

Owners of 2001 and newer model cars and light-duty vehicles, as well all flex-fuel vehicles, have nothing to worry about using E15 because it has undergone years of extensive testing by several parties and stakeholders, including some in coordination with the Department of Energy and its affiliated national laboratories, before it was cleared for commercial sale, writes Kristy Moore, vice president of technical services for the Renewable Fuels Association. “In fact, E15 has undergone more testing than any automotive fuel previously introduced into commerce,” Moore notes.
